The government's pro-lawyer panel has won awards for lawyers and the highest professional career in the Bangladesh Bar Council. They have won 12 of the 14 selected posts.

Human rights activist HM Jahirul Islam Khan (ZI Khan Panna) got the third highest vote from the same panel. He got total 14 thousand 497 votes. Syed Rezaur Rahman of Awami panel got 14 thousand 184, senior lawyer Yusuf Hossain Humayun got 14, 98, Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman Badal got 13 thousand 288 votes.

Besides, former Attorney General AJ Mohammad Ali, the only winner from the BNP supporter panel in the general constituency. He got a total of 13 thousand 712 votes.

Kazi Md from the Dhaka region from the Awami supporter panel. Najibullah Hiru (5 thousand 175 votes), Greater Mymensingh, Tangail, Faridpur District Lawyers Association (Group B) said. On May 14, the vote was held on 12th society and Supreme Court Bar Association Samiti in the District Lawyers Association of the whole country, in the upazila.

According to the Bangladesh Legal Processors and Bar Council Order 1972, the Chairman of the 15-member Council is the ex-officio Attorney General. Besides, 14 members were elected. Of which seven were selected in general category and seven regional categories. These 14 elected members themselves elected a Vice-Chairman by their votes. The term of the elected committee is three years.

It is to be noted that 10 of the 14 posts of Awami League and 4 BNP candidates won in Bar council elections in the last year. After the vote of the members, Advocate Abdul Baset Majumder was elected Vice Chairman.
