He said, "Civil Surgeon and other doctors who are in prison, according to their advice, will be treated to Khaleda Zia. I will request his personal and trusted doctors to stay in the government's care.
Khaleda Zia's younger brother wrote in the petition- "Currently my eldest sister Khaleda Zia has been kept in the central jail located at Nazimuddin Road in Dhaka. He has been suffering from various diseases for a long time. In prison, he is not getting the necessary medical treatment. As a result, his physical condition has deteriorated in long imprisonment. '
The petitioner further said, "On June 9, under the permission of the jail authorities, four specialist doctors who examined her (Khaleda Zia) inside the physical examination. Those doctors know that Khaleda Zia was attacked on June 5 at the Mild Stroke. As a result these types of risks are predicting a major risk for the future. He urgently needed admission and medical treatment by admitting 'United Hospital' in Dhaka. So we will bear all such medical expenses of Khaleda Zia.
"Because of this, Khaleda Zia has been admitted to United Hospital in Dhaka and requested for permission to provide the necessary medical treatment," the petition said.
