Principal Dr. Binoy Bhushan Rai said, "Teachers and employees have been living a very difficult and humble life by teaching more than 20 lakh students for more than 15 years of education for more than 5000 accredited educational institutions across the country for a long time. Many employers have a tenure of 5-10 years. Teachers and employees of the educational institution are living without development in the country.
He said, "On June 12, the Manpower Structure and MPO Policy of the Private Educational Institution (School-College) has been issued to prevent the establishment of the MPO. This policy conflicts with the conditions imposed during the admission and recognition of teaching institutions. In the current 2018-19 budget there is no clear declaration for allotment of new educational institutions for MPO. As a result, non-MPO teacher employees were very disappointed and hopeless. In this situation, if all MPs of the President of the country are MPO, then all the citizens will be pleased to make the contribution of the President.
Earlier, MPO Education Institutions teachers and employees started a continuous program in front of the National Press Club on December 26 last year demanding MPO. On Jan 5, on behalf of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her then personal secretary Sajjadul Hassan assured her that the non-MPO educational institute was in the post of the Teachers and Employees Federation.
Then teachers and employees announced the suspension of the movement program. It has been said from various stages of the government that new private educational institutions will be included in the upcoming fiscal year.
But finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith proposed a budget for the year 2018-2019, but there was no clear mention about the new MPO bid.
In the current budget, the proposal for allocation of 53,554 crore for the two divisions of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and the Ministry of Education has been proposed. It is the second highest allocation of Khatwari in the proposed national budget. The importance of building primary schools, technical institutes and infrastructure has been given in budget allocation.
