Salauddin Tuku sent to jail

The court has ordered the Jubo Dal's general secretary Sultan Salauddin Tuku to be sent to jail in a case filed with the Shahbagh Police Station.

Police on Tuesday (June 12th) presented him in Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court. The investigating officer appealed for seven-day remand for a fair investigation of the case.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Keshab Rai remanded on June 20 for hearing the case and ordered him to be sent to jail.

DB police detained Tuku from his Uttara residence at around 12:30 pm on Monday night.
